UNPAR Physics Student Kenny Imam Mahardika Wins Silver Medal at ON MIPA-PT 2026

UNPAR Physics Student Earns Silver Medal in the Physics Category of ON MIPA-PT 2026

Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) has once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the national level through the success of one of its Physics students, Kenny Imam Mahardika, who won a Silver Medal in the Physics category at the 2026 National Olympiad in Mathematics and Natural Sciences for Higher Education Students (ON MIPA-PT 2026).

ON MIPA-PT is a prestigious academic competition organized by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs. The competition brings together outstanding students from universities across Indonesia to compete in four major disciplines: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The highly competitive nature of the event makes every achievement a reflection of the participants’ academic excellence, hard work, and dedication. In this year, ONMIPA-PT was held at Airlangga University, Surabaya

In response to his achievement, Kenny expressed his gratitude and appreciation to his supervisors, fellow students, and the entire UNPAR academic community for their continuous support throughout the preparation process and during the competition. According to him, participating in ON MIPA-PT not only deepened his understanding of advanced physics concepts but also strengthened his critical thinking skills, resilience in facing challenges, and creativity in solving scientific problems.

This accomplishment is a source of pride for the Physics Study Program and the Faculty of Science at UNPAR. Kenny’s success is expected to inspire other students to further develop their academic potential, actively participate in scientific competitions, and contribute to the advancement of science at both the national and international levels.

Congratulations to Kenny Imam Mahardika on this outstanding achievement. May this success serve as the beginning of even greater contributions and accomplishments in the fields of physics, scientific research, and innovation in the years to come.
