Profile

The Physics Study Program at UNPAR was established in 1993. Since 2015, it has been the first private Physics Study Program to receive an “A” Accreditation status (Decree of BAN-PT No. 1122/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/X/2015). In March 2022, the program achieved the “Excellent Accreditation” status, as assessed by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) (Decree No. 1600/SK/BAN-PT/AK-ISK/S/III/2022). In 2025, the Physics Study Program successfully maintained its “Excellent Accreditation” status through the Independent Accreditation Institute for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA) (Decree No. 154/SK/LAMSAMA/Akred/S/VI/2025), valid from June 18, 2025 until June 17, 2030.

The Physics Study Program at UNPAR prepares its students for a wide range of career paths, both within the field of physics and beyond. This is reflected in the diverse professions pursued by UNPAR Physics alumni, including education (lecturers, graduate and doctoral students, teachers, etc.), production and manufacturing (engineers, etc.), services and trade (software testers, entrepreneurs, etc.), and many other sectors.

The program offers a flexible curriculum that covers various fields, enabling students to pursue careers in research, teaching, or industry. The curriculum is also enriched with transferable skills, equipping graduates not only with a solid foundation in scientific knowledge but also with the ability to adapt quickly to different professional environments
