Electronics and Advanced Physics Laboratory

The Electronics and Advanced Physics Laboratory is used to support practicum sessions in Electronics, Modern Physics, and Instrumentation, as well as research conducted by lecturers and students. Practicums in this laboratory adopt an exploratory method, where students do not work based on a “recipe” but instead solve problems through analysis under guidance to determine the next steps. At the end of the semester, students complete a small project of their own interest using the available facilities.

This laboratory also serves as a space for students to work on their final projects or simply to study and explore.

Available equipment includes:

  • Modern Physics: interferometer, photoelectric effect module, Franck-Hertz experiment, electron diffraction module, and spectrometer.
  • Electronics: analog kit with experiment board and digital kit with experiment board.
  • Instrumentation: computer-based instrumentation system with various sensors, microcontroller modules, and other modern modules.
  • Medical Physics: ultrasound (USG), Geiger counter, X-ray multimeter, QA/QC equipment, and electroencephalograph (EEG).
