Bandung – Physics Major students have made another achievement! This time it came from one of the Physics Study Program students, Rich Mikhael Adelgold Simamora. Rich and his team successfully published their research in a reputable journal Q1 as part of the MBKM Riset program at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
His research entitled “Pt Nanowire Arrays on Graphene-Integrated Cathode Gas Diffusion Layer for Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells” focuses on the use of graphene to improve the performance and durability of the cathode electrode in PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells). Rich was involved in carrying out research in the laboratory for more than 1 year and participated in writing the paper.
The research involved several authors from UNPAR and BRIN, with Rich as the first author, Joseph Setyadi (alumni of UNPAR Chemical Engineering), Arenst Andreas Arie, lecturer of Chemical Engineering Study Program, and Elok Fidiani, lecturer of Physics Study Program as corresponding author.
Rich suggested students to join MBKM Riset BRIN if they have an interest in research and have an interesting field according to themselves so that it will feel more fun if done. MBKM Riset BRIN activities will provide many benefits for fellow students.
