Bandung, December 17, 2025 — Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) once again held the UNPAR XPERIENCE CAMP, a program designed to provide students with a clear picture of what campus life at UNPAR is like. Through this activity, participants were given the opportunity to experience the academic atmosphere, learning activities, and various engaging programs offered at the university.
On this occasion, the Physics Study Program of UNPAR took part by hosting a Fun Workshop as part of the event. The workshop was titled “Behind Diagnostic Imaging: Unraveling the World of Waves and Echoes”, introducing students to the fundamental concepts of wave physics and their applications in medical imaging.
During the workshop, students were introduced to one of the applications of ultrasonic waves through ultrasound (USG) technology. In addition, they learned about radiation shielding as a method of radiation protection, emphasizing the importance of safety in the use of diagnostic imaging technologies.
The activity was designed to be both educational and enjoyable. Students also participated in logic and science games led by the Bengkel Sains Team, aimed at developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and teamwork.
Through the UNPAR XPERIENCE CAMP, the Physics Study Program of UNPAR hopes to inspire students’ interest in physics while providing them with a comprehensive overview of the learning experience and student life at UNPAR.
